THE PARAMOUNT BUILDING CLOCK & GLOBE RESTORATION

LOCATION: NEW YORK, NY

The Paramount Building restoration included the reconstruction and restoration of the four large scaled directional clocks and illuminated globe at the top of the building, as well as the relighting of the building’s “wedding cake” style tower set backs, highlighting the building’s original design and decorative features. The Globe was re-lit in 2000, the first time in over 50 years that the Globe shined bright in Times Square, originally painted black during WWll to hide it from possible enemy attack.
