OBHS - Partners for a Stronger Community
One Brooklyn Health System (OBHS) is a non-profit medical services provider that strives to preserve and enhance access to healthcare services throughout East & Central Brooklyn by bringing together the separate hospitals (Brookdale University Hospital Center, Interfaith Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center) and their governed affiliates into a sustainable, quality integrated health system that provides inpatient acute care, community-based ambulatory care and long-term care services.
We are pleased to announce that after a thorough review process TPD/RMPA is part of a small group of pre-qualified firms that will be able to provide design services in connection with the development of clinical and infrastructure projects by One Brooklyn Health System (OBHS).
As part of the $1.4 billion “Vital Brooklyn” initiative, OBHS was awarded $664 million in capital funding from the NYS Department of Health’s Health Care Facilities Transformation Program. The funding made available will not only be used to improve medical facilities, it shall also increase access to open spaces and healthy food, and create affordable housing, as well as job creation, youth development, and community violence prevention that will transform Central Brooklyn.

Broadway Marquee
TPD collaborated successfully with D3 LED’s to bring more light to the iconic Times Square! Following the newly constructed marquee and arch, several large blade signs were installed on the facade of the building. Once again, the Paramount Building shines brightly thirty-three years after the Theatre was demolished.

Tobin Parnes Is Moving!
2019 will be an exciting year for TPD! In the first quarter of 2019, we will be moving into a new office space inside of the Historic Woolworth Building! Some of you may already know that it was designed by the illustrious Cass Gilbert and was the tallest building in the world between 1913-1930 – our new space has amazing east and south views from the 24th Floor. We are thrilled to finally share the news with you and cannot wait to post photos of the progress in the space soon! Stay tuned!

We love how the renovation of this church has put smiles on so many faces. In collaboration with Larry Hoy Studios, we fulfilled the client’s wishes to meet the demands for the expanding congregation.
