Essen Healthcare, a valued provider of community outpatient services in the Bronx, embarked on a mission to revitalize its image through a modern and inviting design. The inaugural project at 899 Westchester Ave. marks the introduction of the new prototype design, featuring the development of an 8,400 SF licensed Article 28 compliant Diagnostic and Treatment Center. This center encompasses a Primary Care Physicians Suite, a Behavioral Health Suite, and a Physical Therapy Suite.

Upon entering the space, patients are greeted by a welcoming primary reception area and waiting room, setting a positive tone for their visit. The incorporation of diverse flooring materials and angled floor designs not only adds dynamism to the environment but also serves as visual focal points, aiding in patient orientation.

The essence of Essen's brand is skillfully woven into the design, with brand colors reflected in finish and furniture selections. Solid accents of blue and grey, along with light wood look flooring and complementary millwork, contribute to a contemporary and urban healthcare environment. This cohesive design not only establishes a unified identity for Essen but also fosters a space that promotes the well-being of both patients and providers.
