HOTEL & OFFICE RESTORATION & ADDITION

Working closely with the owner of 1265 Broadway, a building with frontage on Broadway and 6th Avenue, TPDA designed and coordinated the conversion of this 8-story office/showroom building to a 9-story extended stay residential / hotel and office building.  The 60,000 square foot project included the upgrade of two existing elevators, the addition of a new ADA compliant elevator, new electric service and distribution, new heating and air conditioning systems and a building wide sprinkler system.   Also included in the project was the addition of a new residential penthouse, the restoration of the Broadway and 6th Avenue facades, upgrades of the first floor retail spaces and storefronts, the creation of new office space on the second floor, a new hotel / residential entrance and lobby on Broadway and a new office entrance and lobby on 6th Avenue.
