Julia Schafhauser is a Senior Associate at TPD Architecture, accredited LEED AP BD+C for Building Design and Construction as well as an Associate AIA member and ASID member. She holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Architecture and has more than 12 years of broad experience working in the Architecture and Interior Design industry in New York City with projects nationwide. At TPDA she works as an Architectural Project Manager and Senior Interior Designer specializing in Hospitality, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and high-end Residential Projects.
Julia’s design work was published in Hospitality Design Magazine, Boutique Design Magazine and EFA Environments for the Aging. She is passionate about developing Branded Environments and Narrative Spaces using traditional architectural methods and new technologies. With her communicative nature, Julia loves to work and interact with clients spreading positivity and enthusiasm along the way.
Her original thinking and detailed experience in all stages of multiple projects including Design Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Budgeting to preparation of full sets of Construction Documents, Construction Supervision, complete Specifications and custom Furniture and Lighting design contribute to completing projects in time and on budget while keeping clients happy.
In her free time, she loves to climb mountains in the Northeast with the goal of completing the NE111 in winter.
