A new space for a new kind of company. 

SoFi, a nationwide finance company, turned to TPD Architecture for the design of their new office.  Nestled just feet away from New York City’s famed High Line, SoFi was looking to create a highly visible, brick-and-mortar location that aligned with their highly successful digital presence. 

Embracing SoFi’s modern take on doing business and their desire to empower both their clients and their employees, the design focuses around open office concepts with flexible work spaces, huddle rooms, private telephone booths, and shared community areas.  While large conference rooms and a welcoming reception area resemble the services often found in a more conventional office, the flexibility incorporated throughout allows SoFi the ability to adapt their uses and provide the service they are passionate about.  Materials evocative of the original surrounding Meatpacking District are complimented with a more refined palette, reflecting the areas diversity and SoFi’s desire to help their clients get ahead and find success.
