USMA QUARTERS 100 AT WEST POINT - THAYER MUSEUM AND SUPERINTENDENT’S RESIDENCE

LOCATION: west point, NY
SIZE: 16,600 SF

Quarters 100 (Q100), built in 1820, is the oldest surviving building at the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point with the Post’s Quartermaster’s office presumed as the original architect.  TPD Architecture led and managed an extensive two-year renovation of the entire property.  The program included restoration of the historic fabric of the building’s interior and exterior, including restoration of the historic Thayer Museum.  All treatments were based on historic documentation and various architectural periods evident in Q100.
